Best of Summer 2017 Fashion
We thought that you may enjoy taking a spin through the “virtual mall” we’ve put together for finding some great items for the summer of 2017. Complete with a stop for lunch and afternoon cocktail, we hope this helps you find the intersection between style, comfort, and price. Because you can’t enjoy your summer days if your feet are killing you, and you’re worried about “overexposure”.

A Special Skirt: Sporty, Flirty or Both?
Looking for something that can be very casual, or taken up several notches? The multi-tiered skirt from Fresh Produce is a very special piece. An untucked top hits at just the right spot. Espadrilles give it a great flirty look. If you’d like to avoid shipping fees, there is a selection of colors on Zappos to choose from.

Gingham has cropped up this year, with mixed results. Choose the right way to wear it, and it carries its own retro-elegance. Choose the wrong way, particularly if it involves ruffles, and you’ll end up looking like a dust ruffle, a tablecloth, or a little girl. Here is one of our recommendations that fits a number of occasions.
Lunch Break!
Although online shopping is definitely less tiring than the alternative, considering all of your best options may have made you hungry by now. We’ve got just the thing to help you refuel. A delicious chickpea and spinach salad from HurryTheFoodUp.com.

- 1large handful spinach
- 5oz feta cheese or similar (3.5 oz = 100 g)
- 1small handful raisins
- 1/2tbsp lemon juice (white or malt vinegar is also good)
- 1tbsp honey
- 4tbsp olive oil
- 5 – 1tsp cumin, ground
- 1pinch salt
- 1/2tsp chili flakes (or dried cayenne pepper will do the trick nicely)
Instructions
- Chop the cheese and add with the spinach and chickpeas to a large bowl
- Mix the honey, oil, lemon juice and raisins in a small bowl
- Add the cumin, salt and pepper to the dressing bowl and mix well
- Drizzle devilishly delicious dressing over the salad
